This week’s conversation was inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor, theologian, and anti-Nazi dissident - somebody that Krista and I both admire.
The quote that got the conversation started was this one…
“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.”
―Dietrich Bonhoeffer
What does it mean to “drive a spoke into the wheel” and whose role is it to do that when we witness systems becoming malignant (and people within the system gaining too much power)?
For more on this topic, we welcome you to join us on Thursday, April 24th, for the fourth webinar in our Leadership for Liminal Spaces program. We’ll be talking about Systems Thinking: Navigating complexity in times of liminality.
