In this edition of our Coffee Break series, Krista and I share our definition of leadership and talk about how we see that kind of leadership shared in an organization or community. We also talk about “selective hierarchy” where a collective chooses to accept some hierarchical leadership in order to get through crises and/or function more smoothly when critical decisions need to be made. And we talk about the intersection between the personal and the collective - how the evolution of one both influences and is influenced by the other.
