During that conversation, he mentioned something I've heard him say before...that white folks have a hard time working on their own racism with each other, that they often look for people in black/brown/indigenous bodies to help them with that. Your conversation during this podcast is a lovely example of people with white bodies having an honest, tender, and gracious conversation around the topic of racism and acknowledging all the things that come up for us as we work to do/be better.
