I like your way of presenting this. Mine is a different story. And it is such an unconscious inheritance. Solutions to ancestral trauma survival are encoded in our genes and parenting hand-me-downs. We unconsciously do what those shadows had to do. To change away from this is like shedding not only one's skin, but one's identification with what feels like our skin - but which is not our own flesh and being. Finding that silver lining, we can reconfigure into our self.
